Sunrise Service at Farthing Downs- 20th April

This will take place at 06.00am at Farthing Downs following this at 07.00am breakfast will be served at Cameron Hall.  

 

Decoration of the Easter cross with flowers – 20th April

Please to remember to bring a few stems of flowers on the Easter Sunday- 20th April’25, to decorate the cross. This is to signify the birth of new life after death on the cross. 


Whitethorn Avenue Afternoon Tea and Quiz – Early notice

Whitethorn Avenue Methodist church will be holding an afternoon tea and quiz on Saturday 7th June at 4pm. Bring your friends to make up tables of 6 or come on your own. The fee is £10.00 per head.

New Banking Hub in Coulsdon

Barclays banking hub will no longer be using the church’s car park as the Coulsdon Banking Hub is now opened at 152 Brighton Road. Customers of all major banks and building societies, can now drop in Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, for the vast majority of their banking needs. Entry is from Chipstead Valley Road. The new Hub is behind Park & Bailey estate agents and opposite Tesco Express.

In addition, five community banks – selected on their number of customers in the local area- are available on rotation, with a different bank available 9am -5pm on each day of the week:

Monday: (HSBC will be available on Mondays soon)

Tuesday: Santander

Wednesday: Barclays

Thursday: NatWest

Friday: (Lloyds available on Fridays from 9th May)
