Caterham Methodist church thanksgiving service
A Thanksgiving service will be held at Caterham Methodist Church at 3pm this coming Sunday, 26 October 2025. The Revd. Dr. Jonathan Dean will be preaching. Refreshments will be served following the service.
Methodist Women in Britain (MWiB) Autumn lunch
The MWiB autumn lunch will be taking place at Sanderstead Methodist church on Thursday 30th October at 12 noon for 12,30pm. Linda Rickford will be giving a talk on the Astro Brain Tumour fund. There will also be a Bring and Buy Stall. Tickets are £8.00 each and are available from Dorothy Pearson. All are Welcome
Church Anniversary – 2nd November
Next Sunday we will be marking the church’s Anniversary and will be celebrating this with tea, coffee and cakes after the service. We would be grateful for donations of cakes to support this event.

Margaret's memorial service will take place at St John’s Hurst Green 11.30am on Thursday 13 November, with refreshments in the Church room afterwards.

Foundation Module Safeguarding training
This training is for all those in need of Foundation Module Training, either as their first time or as a refresher:
Safeguarding Training | Train the Trainer for Foundation Module | Wednesday 29 October | 1pm - 4pm
All those who wish to be able to deliver Foundation Module safeguarding training in their church or circuit, are invited to attend this Train the Trainer session led by Neil Hutchinson (Regional Officer for Safeguarding). The session will be held on Zoom. If you would like to attend, please do sign up and also drop Claire an email to let her know so that she may update her records.
Dementia Café in Church Hall on the first Tuesday of each month
Free Dementia Café with intergenerational theme with singing, painting, salsa, chakra dancing and meditation, mental muscle. The invitation is open to anyone who wishes to attend, you don’t have to have dementia! The Dementia Café takes place on the first Tuesday of each month from 1.30-3.30pm in the church hall. Tea, coffee and cakes are provided
